Who I Am

Hello! I am Paula Carrillo, a journalist and correspondent for renowned international media outlets for 14 years. I have worked with Agence France-Presse (AFP), the television channels France 24 and NTN24, and for Radio France International in Spanish.

I have been with these prestigious media outlets as a correspondent because credibility is EVERYTHING to me, as demonstrated by my professional career, which you can verify on my LinkedIn profile.

Hondurans Need Accurate and Reliable Information

I created Honduranconsulate.com after hearing from Honduran friends about the numerous pages regarding Honduran procedures in the United States that contain false information and are created by individuals without any responsibility.

Due to my commitment to the Latino community in the United States, of which I am a part, I decided to share accurate information about procedures, because in this country, everything has a cost.

If you take a day off work to visit the consulate, no one will compensate you for the lost wages, nor will they cover the cost of gas, parking, or meals if you have to wait all day at the consulate for a procedure.

Those who create pages without any ethical standards are unaware whether you spent $100 going to a consulate at a non-existent address or if you brought incorrect documents and need to return.

That is why you have my word that each page created here is based on OFFICIAL information.

The data I provide is verified individually with reliable sources. My photo is REAL, and I do not produce articles en masse using Artificial Intelligence.

I do not need to hide behind a fake and fictional character who claims to be Honduran, but if they create a page about Guatemala, they claim to be Guatemalan, as you can find many of in Google searches.

These Procedures are Adapted to Your Nationality

During my frequent travels across various states in the United States, I observed a significant need among the Honduran community for information on the different procedures related mainly to the issuance of identification documents in the United States.

There was no accurate information available, as most pages are created by fake characters producing mass texts with Artificial Intelligence, designed solely to rank on Google, without considering that there are real people who genuinely need their documents.

Consulates do not have a great availability of appointments either, and strategies must be applied to secure them without paying corrupt facilitators.

I aim to provide all these strategies here because, despite the challenges, I know there are thousands of Hondurans who need their documents up to date.

For this reason, I decided to create this website to guide step by step the migrants, Honduran residents, and U.S. citizens of Honduran descent through the process.

Additionally, since the Honduran consulates in the United States do not have official websites, I found it necessary to consolidate all the information in one place. This is the result. Welcome!
